• Special guest Brian Fenimore this evening (Wednesday) at 6:45pm.
It is time for the church to break the evil hold of the principality over the Supreme Court once and for all.  Tonight we will be praying for the Supreme Court to have Godly wisdom and boldness to overturn the Roe vs. Wade decision.
We will also be praying for prodigals to know Jesus and the power of the heavenly Father’s love.

Great Joy When the Prodigals’ Return

In Luke 15, the chapter about the Lost Sheep, Lost Coin, & Lost (Prodigal) Son, Jesus shows us the Father’s heart as He describes the great joy that comes when the lost are found.

Read: Luke 15:5, Luke 15:9, & Luke 15:23-24

Our heavenly Father has an incredible love for all the lost and prodigals, and when they return to Him there is remarkable joy that breaks forth in Heaven. As ministers of reconciliation (2 Cor 5:18), it is our commission to bring those far from God back to Him.

But we shouldn’t look at this as an obligation, rather, it is the Lord who supernaturally empowers us with wisdom and boldness (when we step out in faith) to share the love of the Father with those who are lost so that through Christ, they would be found and come back into the arms of our loving God.  In this, we will find great joy, because this is the Lord’s joy!   So every time we minister to others, or preach the Gospel, it is an opportunity for us to bring our Father great joy.

This week, let’s lift up our eyes and look around us and we will see just how ready the harvest is. (Jn 4:35)  We’re hearing testimony after testimony of people responding to the Gospel with an enthusiastic, “YES!”.   Everyone of us is empowered to speak the Word of God boldly and give Heaven reason to celebrate!

‘I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing (joy) in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. ‘ -Luke 15:7

Lord – Would you work through us with your supernatural power and enable us to speak the Word of God boldly and to never fear people.  And may this empower us with the Lord’s joy which strengthens us and sustains us for the good works we are created for. Amen!

May The Lord bless you,
Pastor Mike & Pastor Andrew
