We’re all about people, and The Rock Care is the support network through which we take care of our family. If you are experiencing a significant life event we want to lift you up and support you spiritually and practically while remembering Christ is the answer to all of life’s difficulties.
Major life events like births, adoptions, hospitalization, death of a loved one or life-altering illnesses, we’d like to be there for you. We can help provide assistance with meals, transportation, cleaning, childcare and visitations.
The Rock partners with multiple non-profits and government agencies to share resources. Get information on Education, Employment, Family Services, Health Care, Housing and Shelter, Mental Health Care, Nutrition and Food and Transportation.
Our congregation is so generous, we are blessed to be able to help those who have hit some rough times. We strive to assist in breaking cycles of crisis by promoting real change in habits and behavior.
Requests for assistance are made in-person by coming to our church offices Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
There’s some paperwork involved for financial assistance, and it takes about 10 days to get all the paperwork sorted through; but we often have some resources available to help with immediate needs.
Pastoral Counseling and Professional Counseling at The Rock are different from secular counseling or therapy because it is based on scriptural principles and not simply psychology. We offer both Biblical life education and Spirit-led guidance for the healing of life’s wounds. Thus our goal is to bring healing, wholeness and purpose to the whole person: body, soul and spirit.
Contact The Rock office at 303-688-0777, ext 214 and leave a voice mail. The Counseling staff will contact you as soon as possible to schedule an appointment or offer assistance.
It’s our heart to serve our community. Sometimes, a hot meal with new friends is just the thing you need.
Join us on Wednesday nights from 5:30-6:30pm for a FREE full-course meal.
