DOUBLE ANOINTING – GRACE TO GRACE

“Instead of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so, they will inherit a double portion of their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs.”  Isaiah 61:7

There is a great anointing coming on the church (the ecclesia) that this generation has not experienced.  And there is a strong sense by many that this time is at-hand. This is not for our glory, but for the glory of the Lord. When God pours out His Spirit, it changes the position and the condition of the earth. We have read about it in Acts multiple times and also in times of more recent spiritual revivals.  During these times there is a thinning of the veil between heaven and earth where the supernatural becomes much more evident.  And on every occasion, we see the Word of God spoken with boldness and many come to know Christ…a harvest of souls!  At the same time there were always many who completely misunderstood these times and didn’t see them as outpourings of the Spirit. We need to be so attentive and sensitive to the move of the Spirit, with hearts and minds consecrated to the Lord, and our response needs to come from aligned hearts with an active ‘YES’ to His move and flow so that we can fully engage in the next outpouring of the Spirit.

I have also been sensing that the Lord is inviting us into a greater revelation of His GRACE for the things He is doing and about to do.  The GRACE of the Lord is positioning us to walk in heavenly authority on the earth for such a time as this.  In Zechariah 4, the Bible describes the flattening of a “mighty mountain” that was in opposition to the plans of the Lord.  As Zerubbabel held out the plumb line in faith in the face of great opposition (the mighty mountain), the Lord moved on his behalf, and a double portion of grace was given to flatten the opposition and accomplish the impossible!  I believe we are entering into a time like this and my prayer is that we are prepared.

Almost exactly one month ago in a time of prayer, I felt the Lord speak over The Rock and I wrote down the following: 

“I have come and I have seen a people who have consecrated their hearts, dedicated their lives, and my response is Yes!  There is a double portion of my anointing, of my joy, and of my peace coming on you.  This is to strengthen you for the coming days, months, and years.  You will need every drip of my oil as I pour over you.  I am about to command a blessing that you cannot contain. I am about to speak over you, sing over you, laugh over you, lavish my love over you. You are about to be swept away like a mighty rushing river that is too powerful to control or manage. Once you get in, it will sweep you away and usher you into the things on my heart.  You can either flow with my river and it will be almost effortless, or you can try and manage it in the midst of my flow and you will become exhausted. In the difficulties and tiredness, you will learn to rest in me and let the flow take you . You are about to learn how to Live from my GRACE! The words, “My GRACE is sufficient”, is going to take on new revelational meaning that surpasses your present understanding of GRACE. It is my GRACE that gives you sustaining life. Take hold of me, walk with me, eyes on me, obey me, and my GRACE will be all sufficient and take you into realms you have never seen or entered.  I am about to blow your mind…”

I pray this is received as encouragement and that as you live and grow in the rich knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, that divine grace and heavenly peace would flood your hearts and minds in great abundance! (2 Pet 1:2)
