Battle Strategy

Jer 4:19  “…My heart is beating wildly; I cannot keep silent, for I hear the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war (battle cry).”  

Joel 2:1 “Blow a trumpet in Zion; sound an alarm on my holy mountain!  Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming; it is near.”

The trumpet has sounded and we are in the battle.  It is a battle of two kingdoms and the prize… the inheritance… is souls!  We are in the last days and the Day of the Lord is near. A new day of destiny is dawning and we must clothe ourselves with the radiance of light (JESUS!) as our weapon. (Rom 13:12) The Spirit is being poured out on everyone and those who have intimacy (oil) will rise up and declare with power the Word of the Lord… the BATTLE STRATEGY!

In these days, we must be aware that the enemy is real and will try to bring fear and anxiety to shut down the Battle Strategy from moving forward.  If you have been experiencing anxiety or fear lately, cheer up! You are among many that have been experiencing anxiety in an unusually strong way… including me!  There is a spirit of fear, anxiety, and timidity that is being released in a great way into the atmosphere – and even more intensely over the past couple weeks. If we are not aware and on our guard with eyes on Jesus, we can quickly pick this up and allow it to affect our mindset and take us out of alignment. On the upside, when the enemy plays this card it often is a sign that the Lord is about to move in power!  I want us all to be aware and ready to move with the Spirit when this happens.

But know this!  Although the enemy comes with a spirit of fear, God comes more powerfully with His Spirit of Power, Love, and a mindset of the Spirit. (2 Tim 1:7)  And God’s love is perfect and when we receive it, fear cannot remain! (1 Jn 4:18)  We should never fear or accept a spirit of fear, for in Christ and with His grace, we are established – full of faith, fearless, and courageous! 

Remember the word of the Lord to Joshua, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord you God will be with you wherever you go!”  As we align with Jesus, we can take hold of these words which Jesus restates, “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”  Our power and our strength come from Jesus, but we must never shrink back or partner with fear!  We must walk by faith, not by sight!  We are His righteous ones!  And remember that God has given us everything we need for this battle… for life and godliness.  (1 Peter 1:3)

 

Lord, I pray that we would not be anxious about anything we face, but that we would in all things give thanks to the Lord and by faith, trusting in the Lord, give Him our requests in prayer.  And I thank you that in this you will provide us with a peace that will go beyond our understanding and guard our heart and our mind in Jesus.  Thank you that from this position we will know the Battle Strategy and walk in it! (taken from Phil 4:6-7)
