Rock Weekly – March 9, 2022
*Join us for our Wednesday Service, tonight at 6:45pm in the Sanctuary. We will worship and pray together and seek the face of God. This is a great time to prepare our hearts and get heaven’s plans for this special season we are in.

*We are on day 3 of 5 days of Fasting & Prayer! Mon-Fri (3/7-3/11) We are on day 3 of 5 days of prayer and fasting for The Rock and other church churches and ministries who have partnered together for this unique time in history. Even if you have missed the first days, I want to encourage you to jump in now! We feel such a strong sense that there is about to be a shift in the heavenlies that will reverberate throughout the earth. This time of fasting and prayer is to prepare us for what is to come. We don’t know exactly what to expect, but we can fix our eyes on Jesus and prepare our hearts.

Battle Ready
`“For this is what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies says: In just a little while I will again shake the heavens and the earth, the oceans and the dry land. I will shake all the nations, and the treasures of all the nations will be brought to this house. I will fill this place with glory, says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.” Haggai 2:6-7
What happens in the heavenlies will reverberate in the earth. This has been God’s plan from the beginning and it is His will now. “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matt 6:10) We are in a time where the Lord is awakening His Church in America to the understanding of the Spirit. As with the Church in Sardis, the Church of America has a reputation of being alive, but sadly this is not the case. Much of the words and actions of the Church have been ‘about Christ’, but they have not been ‘in Christ’. I am not attacking any specific church, but addressing the condition of the Church in America. The Bible differentiates between ‘works’ and ‘good works’. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for GOOD WORKS, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” (Eph 2:10)
In order to walk in the good works prepared for us, we must intimately know the one we are created in – Jesus! One of the best ways for this is through prayer and fasting. Jesus modeled this lifestyle. And if Jesus needed to pray and fast, I imagine it is necessary for us as well. It is in the Abiding, the Dwelling, the Waiting, the Prayer/Fasting that we receive spiritual wisdom and revelation…the hope to which we were called. (Eph 1:17-18)
The shaking in the earth is a wakeup call for the Church. “But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief and you will know at that time I will come to you.” (Rev 3:3) We need to pray for the Bride to awaken. This is God’s heart and will. On a positive note, I am so encouraged at how you all are responding to the beckoning of the Lord. There is such a hunger and thirst for more of the Lord and He is filling us! Repentant hearts have brought times of refreshing, and so many of you have humbled yourselves before the Lord. We are seeing new kingdom assignments and commissionings and we have stepped into a greater position of authority to tear down enemy strongholds, cast out demons, preach the gospel, disciple, and heal the sick. I am encouraged at how the Lord has prepared us in this past season.
That said, we are about to see a greater shaking in the earth…we are about to go into battle. We need to be battle-ready! We need to operate in the weapons of warfare God has given us. God is opening our eyes to the power of prophecy. Prophecy is a weapon of warfare that has been underutilized and is not well understood by much of the Church. As we declare and decree God’s Word (Rhema & Logos), we see God’s kingdom established on earth. As our eyes are opened to the heavenly realm, we gain spiritual revelation and understanding to see and know God’s outcome to the battles before the fight begins! With this insight, we are then able to decree and declare God’s will into whatever situation we face and we bring heaven to earth…and the battle becomes the Lords!
The keys of the kingdom are interlinked to our words of prophecy so that whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever we loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. It is with words of prophecy that we bind and loose! Mountains move when spoken to! (Mark 11:23) The sun and moon stops when spoken to! (Josh 10:12) Dead people rise when spoken to! (John 11:43) The storms stop when spoken to! (Mark 4:39) You get the point. When we prophesy the Word of the Lord, miraculous things happen. God says that in the last days, He will pour out His Spirit on all people and the sons and daughters will PROPHESY. (Acts 2:17-18) It is so important that the Church grasps this in these last days we are in.
Lord, may we have eyes to see and ears to hear from a heavenly position and may we declare the word of the Lord over the battles at hand. You created us to rule and reign as kings and priests. So as we walk in your ways and keep your commands, teach us to govern your house and have charge in your heavenly courts. (Zech 3:7)
