Happy Veterans Day. Thank You Veterans!
Dear Rock Family,
This morning my heart is very grateful for the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Many have sacrificed so much so what we can have the freedom this country offers. We, at The Rock, want to honor and thank those who have served this great nation that God has blessed.
May we always be thankful to the Lord and to those who have served, may we continue to pray for those who serve – that they would be protected and that their families would be blessed, for our nation and the leaders – that they would walk humbly and have Godly wisdom to lead and serve well and that our nation would continue to be a blessing to other nations and a pillar of strength for the world as we remain “one nation, under the Almighty God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all’!
In the words of President Reagan, “…Today, as never before, we must PRAY for God’s help in broadening and deepening the peace we enjoy. Let us PRAY for freedom and justice and a more stable world…”
In the words of Apostle Paul, “Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs – he wants to please his commanding officer (King Jesus).”
I encourage you take the time today to reflect on how our God has protected and blessed this country. Give thanks to the Lord and bless His holy name! Also take time today to thank and pray for a veteran! We are so grateful for all who have served this great nation. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace!
To every veteran – thank you for your service! Happy Veterans Day!
