Battle Cry for 2022: “ARISE, SHINE, for your light has come!  And the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and His glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light (spiritual wisdom & revelation), and kings to the brightness of your dawn.”  Isaiah 60:1-3

As we move into a New Year of 2022, I believe the Lord is asking us to “Take Territory!”.  We are to take new territory that the Church has never attained.  And we are to retake territory that the Church has lost.  What is territory for us?  Whenever you hear this term, under the New Covenant, it should always be in reference to people, but it goes beyond people as individuals.  Some have referred to territory as the 7 mountains or spheres of influence.  The seven include 1) Education, 2) Religion, 3) Family, 4) Business, 5) Government, 6) Entertainment/arts, 7)Media.  Whatever sphere of influence you are in, that is a great place to start!

We as the Church are commanded by Jesus to ‘seek first HIS kingdom and HIS righteousness’. (Matt 6:33)  This means we must get our minds out of the things of this world…we must stop listening to the lullaby’s (fears, worries, riches, pleasures) of world system which have put much of the church to sleep or distracted us from our intended purpose…making us fruitless.  Don’t believe me?  Just look at the impact 205,000,000 Christians in America are having today.  And we know it only takes a handful of sold-out disciples of Jesus to change the world!

I am believing 2022 will be a year of the awakening of the Church unto the heart of the Lord!  May we become the overcomers we were created to be.  Lord – May your fire burn in our hearts at The Rock and awakening move across Colorado like a blazing fire that lights up the Front Range!   One thing to note.  None of this can be accomplished by our own strength or our own brilliant ideas or strategies.  The Church must learn to rely fully on the Spirit’s wisdom and power!  Our mandate from the Lord has never been to strategize on how to build ‘bigger’ churches or create better programs or preach better messages. It is simply to set our eyes on Jesus and FOLLOW Him…humbly!  God makes it very clear that He is the one who grows His church.  We just need to play our part.  We are God’s workers in His field…laborers! (1 Cor 3:7-9)  And He puts His Spirit in us and gives us His all-surpassing power so that we can overcome this world.  “For everyone born of God overcomes the world!” (1 Jn 5:4)

May our eyes and our ears be open to the moves of the Spirit in 2022!

We love you!
