Please partner with us as we devote ourselves to prayer and fasting. Prayer is an opportunity to approach God and address Him in praise, adoration, confession, thanksgiving, supplication, and intercession. Prayer is a place where we become conscious of God’s presence. We are never to cease praying -(1Thessalonians 5:17). The Christ declared that His Father’s house will be house of prayer. -(Matthew 21:13, Mark 11:17, Luke 19:46). Fasting promotes one to remove desires which results in a deeper dependency and desire for God alone. Jesus, fasted in the time of great temptation –(Matthew. 4:1-11Mark 1:12-13Luke 4:1-4). Before a battle, we would normally choose to nourish ourselves, yet Jesus choose the better option to empty Himself of food and be filled with the Father.
