Who We Are

We’re more than a church. The Rock exists not only to equip believers on Sundays, but to move outside of the four walls of the building and impact our community every day of the week. We aren’t just a gathering, we’re a portrait of God’s heart to a hurting world.

Food Bank
Front Range Food Source has expanded to feeding over 50,000 individuals so far. In 2025 alone, the Front Range Food Source handed out 215,725 pounds of food.

Housing Ministry
Our temporary shelter ministry has served many individuals and families in dire housing situations. From a family of 10 including young children, to single mothers and the elderly, we have been able to help the “least of these” as Jesus puts it in Matthew 25:40.

Prayer Room for Colorado
Lighthouse Prayer Room is a regional prayer room located between Denver and Colorado Springs. The prayer room was officially established in June of 2025 as a place for His people to gather, call on Heaven, intercede, and worship His name.

Regional Unity with Pastors: 400 Gathering and Castle Rock Day of Prayer
The 400 Gathering and Castle Rock Day of Prayer both exist to gather the Bride of Christ as one body. These organizations operate either as quarterly meetings or an annual day of prayer at Festival Park in Castle Rock.

The Church in Government
In the summer of 2025, after winning a preliminary injunction, The Rock Church won a lawsuit with the town of Castle Rock over the temporary housing ministry and zoning laws. We believe this win was not just for our church, but was an example that will set a national precedent on the church’s role of housing the homeless.

What We Do

About The Rock

The Rock Church is a spirit-filled, non-denominational church located in The Meadows neighborhood of Castle Rock, Colorado. In our Sunday morning services (which start at 9:45am) we like to create environment that honors God and celebrates His Holy Spirit.

We do this by creating time and space in our program to allow for the unplanned and unexpected. Sometimes, that means praying for others, hearing scripture read aloud, coming to the “altar” in response, other times it may be someone sharing a prophetic word or a word of knowledge. Our leadership team is filled with anticipation that God will move, but we don’t claim to know exactly how He’ll do it–we hold to the tradition that God’s ways our higher than our ways so we always yield our planning to His preference.

Sunday morning services start at 9:45am and typically end between 12:30-12:45pm. During that time you can expect lots of worship, prayer, ministry time, and teaching.

Our church is passionate about unity in the region, ministry to the Lord, prayer and intercession, as well as raising up disciples who make disciples.

We hope you’ll join us for a Sunday morning and experience the presence of God.
