Giving Tree

Blessing Children with Christmas Gifts

The Rock is providing an opportunity to bless children in our congregation whose families are facing financial hardships or are from single parents homes through a Giving Tree.  We are also partnering with Douglas County Human Services to provide gifts for children in foster care and providing gifts or donations to our partner orphanage for special needs children in China – Journey of a Joyful Life.  Every child should know we are thinking about them and care enough to share the gifts God has graced us with.  This Christmas, we invite you to partner with us to bless these children through the following:

Tags with each child’s gender and age are available on the trees (through Sunday, November 26) in the Foyer and Children’s Wing.  If you would like to bless a child, please take a tag from the tree—further instructions are on the back of the tag.   We are asking that gifts are returned in a gift bag (instead of being wrapped) by Sunday, December 3.  If you have any questions, please contact Nicole Kary (  Need ideas on what to give?   Click the link to see a list of age-appropriate gift suggestions.

We are asking you to help us identify families or single parents that attend The Rock Church who are facing financial hardships so we can bless them through the Giving Tree.  If you know of such a family, please fill out the request below to nominate them for the Giving Tree.  Gifts will be given based on availability.
