The worship time during our services is pretty special. We don’t like to rush through it. If you enjoy music, you’ll really enjoy our live worship team. We play lots of contemporary, spirit filled, worship songs. Some of our people will often lift their hands during worship, while others are content to just stand and sway with the music. So whether you have no rhythm, or you like to dance while you praise, you’ll find a spot to fit in.
Each week our teaching team of pastors will deliver a message that inspires and equips you to be all that God has called you to be. We believe that God has great plans for each of us, and we learn each week how we can bring His Kingdom to Earth as it is in Heaven.
At the 11 o’clock service on Sunday mornings we have American Sign Language (ASL) translators to help those in our congregation that have hearing impairments or are Deaf. Please use one of the reserved seats in the front rows (on the right hand side as you enter) for your convenience. We are temporarily unable to offer ASL translation. If you would like to volunteer to translate please email email@example.com
We understand most people need some caffeine to get and stay going in the mornings. We offer free drip coffee at little stations near the front door. And if you need something a little fancier, we have a full-service coffee bar on site with drinks available for purchase.
If you don’t have a Bible, we’d love to give you one. Near the doors where you enter the sanctuary there’s a table with a sign and a bunch of Bibles. Take one, and consider it a gift from us to you.
Children & Youth
If you have children, they are going to love the children and youth programs at The Rock.
For children 6 weeks – 4 years we have a fantastic Nursery & Preschool ministry that will love on your little ones while you enjoy the service without distractions.
Children in K-2nd Grade get to have services in “Rock Island” with Pastor Jenny where they’ll learn all about Jesus and how to hear from God.
Upper Elementary students (3rd-5th grade) are upstairs in “The Loft” with Pastor Curt, where they get to practice loving on people like God loves us. The stories they learn from the Bible teach them how to live like Jesus.
As children transition out of Children’s Ministry and step into the Student Ministry, we have some excellent staff and volunteers that work hard to help them navigate some of the bumps and transitions of adolescence.
On Sunday mornings middle school students (6th-8th grade) get together to have fun playing games, worshipping, and learning more about how God wants to use them to reach a hurting world.
On Sunday mornings, the high school students have opportunity to sit in on a bible study with students their age at the 9am service, or they can attend “Big Church” (the adult service) in the sanctuary.
There is also so much for children and students to do on Wednesday nights.
Wednesday Night at The Rock
At The Rock, we always want to create an environment for our church family to pursue God, embrace people, and transform society through real community. Wednesday Night at The Rock brings us to a place of deeper intimacy with God through exceptional teaching, and an opportunity to worship passionately.
Join us at 7:00pm in the Sanctuary.
Wednesday Nights we also have Dinner at The Rock. Family Dinners are served from 5:30-6:45pm. Meals are free. For those who are able to, donations are accepted.
If you have children (3 and older), you can drop them off at FireStarters for $2/child. Students in 6th-12th grade are encouraged to visit the student ministry BASE CAMP.
