MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)!
Our goal is to reach out to mothers of young children and help fulfill their unique needs at this stage of life. We aim to meet some of those needs by providing real relationships with other moms and through the love of Christ. We welcome ALL moms of preschoolers - urban, suburban, rural, stay-at-home, working, married, single, and teen. We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month from September through May.
What is MOPS?
MOPS is a program designed to encourage, nurture, and support all mothers of preschoolers. MOPS is open to all mothers who have children from infants to kindergarten. We come together from all age groups and backgrounds with a shared desire to be the best moms we can be.
What do we do at a MOPS meeting?
MOPS meetings are a time to socialize with other moms, eat a delicious breakfast, listen to an interesting and informative speaker, participate in stimulating and spiritual discussion, and do creative activities. While we moms are taking this time for ourselves, our children are cared for in separate classrooms right down the hall.
Childcare…
During the meetings, the children are cared for by a group of trained, responsible helpers in a group called the MOPPETS. In MOPPETS, your child will experience a loving, preschool-like setting with other children their same age. You can have peace of mind that your child is well cared for while you are just a room away enjoying some much needed adult time.
Many of our children’s classrooms are already full, so if you would like to visit, please contact the 2008/2009 MOPS Coordinators.
