What are Community Groups? |
|
- Start by exploring the list of Community Groups. We offer many different kinds of groups for all kinds of people.
- Once you find a Community Group that sounds interesting call the group leader and introduce yourself.
- Arrange to visit the Community Group and see if it “fits.” If it does, then continue to visit until you feel comfortable making a commitment. If the group doesn’t seem right for you, then you can start the process over with another group, or you can call one of our Community Group leadership team and ask for some help.

Ebay/Craigslist Clinic - The Chapel

The Ebay/Craigslist clinic is a 4-week course that will teach the basics of Ebay and Craigslist. This course will include: searching, buying, posting an auction, and follow through at the end of a sale. We will also touch on Craigslist and how to use it as a method of advertising. Be prepared to have fun and sell an actual item of your choice. Mary Carroll has been an Ebay buyer/seller for 10 years. She currently is a Powerseller and owns an Ebay online store. She is happy to share her knowledge about Ebay to those who want to use it to increase their finances.
School of Healing - Room 3

This class is designed to train healing ministers to operate in the Healing Rooms of Castle Rock and other situations where healing ministry is needed. It is also open to those who need healing for themselves or loved ones, or those who are curious or want to learn more. This 10-week course is based on DVD training materials from the International Association of Healing Rooms.

Join us this summer for a Bible study and hike every other week. Our hike locations will be determined the prior week during our class. We will meet at the hike location at 6:30 PM. This will be a great way to share God in a different way along with getting some exercise and getting to know each other better. Please contact us prior to coming on Wednesday nights as we are in the church every other week.

The Apostle Paul’s driving passion was to climb upward to grab hold of the One who grabbed hold of him. He was always pressing on to know God at higher levels. Vertically Inclined: Climbing Higher with God challenges you to scale the spiritual summits that will take you to new heights in your relationship with God. This is a 7-week study. Workbook cost is $15.

It can be hard to feel connected, especially when you are new to a church. We want to welcome everyone to our family and need some caring individuals to make contact phone calls to our newest members. This can be done from home and requires just a minimal amount of time each week.

Welcome Team
We’re all about service. Our team is available to help with greeting, the resource center, ushering and support for special events.
•
Greeters - We want everyone to be welcome at the church each weekend for services and for special events. If your gift lies in having an inviting smile and welcoming nature we would love you to be on one of our teams! All you need to do is what comes naturally to you.
• Resource Center - We specialize in duplicating the sermon to CD’s so that they are available for purchase, handle the sale of vitamins and help with
special event sales. If you are good with people, can run a simple cash register and make change then this is the area for you. We would love to have you!
• Usher - During services we show guests to available seats, help with the offering and communion (on designated weekends) direct families to the children’s area to drop off their children, hand out welcome packets and help with greeting. If you want to serve in your normal service time, this is for you.
