The Thursday morning bible study equips men with a spiritual tools and an enhanced understanding of God’s word. The study goes well beyond intellectual processing and brings new insight to each man in the group. Additionally, the learning provides practical application that a man might not otherwise find in mixed groups, where perhaps wives or girlfriends attend. Everyone in the group knows men and women deal with various core issues in different ways. There are aspects of growth that are particular to men, for example; increasing purity, reducing pride, and getting closer to God. We do this to feel His presence and guidance in our lives.
Every Thursday we get down to the business of learning God’s truth. There is far too much from the Bible that isn’t being lived out in men today. Too many of us go with the “flow” and settle for less than an optimal life. Therefore, it is important for men to combat the lies of the Enemy within themselves and with other men. This is done by eagerly discovering their role God’s plan. Men have their own set of hopes, fears, joys, emotions, and issues – let us explore them together! No need to register, just come on by.
